diy antibacterial room sprayOne of the easiest ways to bring the scents of essential oils into your home without spending a bundle is to make your own room spray.  Why spray extra chemicals into your home with commercial air fresheners when a few simple ingredients is all you need?  This recipe is for an antibacterial room spray that will help to purify the air of germs and make your room smell fresh.

What you will need:

  • A dark glass bottle with a fine mist sprayer
  • 1 tsp of plain vodka (high proof) or neutral grain spirit
  • 1 oz. distilled water
  • 3 drops lemon essential oil
  • 2 drops ravensara essential oil
  • 2 drops wild oregano essential oil
  • 2 drops eucalyptus essential oil
  • Funnel (optional for pouring vodka and water into the glass bottle)
  • Droppers (if your essential oil bottles don’t have them built in)
